Enchanting hotel, it was worth its 3 stars. I enjoyed looking at river from the window of the standard room.

Small hotel in a pretty nice area of Brighouse. Handy location within a close distance from Castlefields Golf Club. Lots of food options at a walking distance from the venue. A good restaurant on site.

Very relaxed atmosphere and in a great central location in Brighouse alongside the canal. Great breakfast too!
If you're at the top of the hotel there's a lot of fire doors.

Had a great night's sleep in the deluxe double room with a super cozy bed 😴. The breakfast in the morning was decent with a nice variety and it came out pretty quickly. The staff here are really friendly and helpful, always ready to answer any questions you have.

We booked a room with a super king size bed and found it very comfortable and good value for the money. The breakfast was good, all in all an excellent value hotel.
The windows were very stiff to open, and the handles were coming off so it was difficult to shut the windows again, we ended up using the aircon when having fresh air would have been preferable. Also, getting to the room was a bit of a maze, but we got used to it.

Good Location, with free parking. The bathrom was a good size and the breakfast was very good. If we were to stay again, we'd request a room which had a bit more space.
We were booked into a Executive Room which was a real maze to get to, which was a quite frustrating. The room itself was tiny, barely enough room for the two of us,

It is hard to choose between the polite, friendly staff or the quality of the food, the selection of drinks in the bar as all of these met well with expectations and often above those expectations.
It was hard to understand how the hotel could have got the billing totally wrong and that paying by debit card means that you have to pay for your accommodation before you have actually stayed whereas if you pay by credit card you pay at the end of your stay. Why, Why oh Why????

We parked just outside the hotel and it didn't cost anything because it was a Sunday and the next day a Bank Holiday. The corridors to the room were a bit like a rabbit warren so we were kindly shown to our room.. The bedroom was lovely and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was roomy and had a large separate shower. Everywhere was very clean. Breakfast was delicious, there was a good choice to cater for all tastes. The waitress was helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome.
For a deluxe room it was too close to the heating pump, which was just outside the window. The jacuzzi didn't work but no apology was made. The receptionist just said she would let someone know.

Visited friends and area generally.
Full Breakfast rather large - should offer smaller portion option.
